RSUJ Law Students compete in the Russian round of the Moot Court and Mediation Competition on Relevant Problems of International Law
(Moscow, 20 March 2017)
RSUJ Law students from 5 Russian cities gathered in Moscow and participated in the first Russian round of the Moot Court and Mediation Competition on Relevant Problems of International Law.
At the first stage of the competition the teams submitted their written memoranda for both parties to the case. After the assessment of written memoranda, a total of 4 teams comprised of students from Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Kazan and Nizhniy Novgorod battled in a series of mock trials on controversial issues related to international company law.
This year’s judging panel consisted of over 6 members, including distinguished judges, lawyers and legal scholars from Russia. We are proud to announce that legal expert from Art de lex company - the official partner of the Moot Court and Mediation Competition on Relevant Problems of International Law - also joined the judging panel.
The competition provides an opportunity for law students to vie for prizes by presenting oral arguments in which they analyze legal issues in a mock court proceedings.
